Symptoms
Possible Source
Troubleshooting (repair as required)
12. Short battery life.
Verify battery voltage using a
voltmeter.
Replace all four batteries as necessary.
Rechargeable AA batteries in
use.
Rechargeable AA batteries not
recommended.
Motor drive circuit or tantalum
capacitors.
Measure supply current and motor current
drains to isolate components and replace
as necessary.
Power off the pump, access the test mode
as described in Section 5.3.2.3,
Entering the Service Test Mode.
Select #08 MOTOR TEST. Complete
the test as described in Section
5.3.2.18, Motor Test, and confirm that
the readings fall within acceptable
ranges.
Press [OPTIONS] once to display the
averaged motor current and the motor
speed in revolutions per minute. Press
[OPTIONS] again to display the
instantaneous motor current and clear
the motor speed.
To isolate the motor controls or
activate the watchdog, use the
following keys:
Watchdog:
[4] = on, [1] = off
6811 control:
[5] = on, [2] = off
6805 control: [6] = on, [3] = off
