Note: The AIM Plus is sequence-sensitive and will indicate a
failure if the keys are not pressed in the order described below.
Moving left to right and top to bottom, press and hold each key
once and verify that the name of the key is displayed while the key
is held.
On the front of the pump, start with [OPTIONS] and end with
[YES/ENTER]. Then, on top of the pump, press [BOLUS] once,
then insert the remote bolus cord and press the button on the cord.
Cf no remote bolus cord is available, press [BOLUS] twice.)
Press and hold [NO] for approximately 3 seconds to exit.
If using the PVT Form, record the results.
Press [YES] to indicate PASS and go to the next test, [NO] to exit
the FINAL ATP, or press [BACK-UP] to repeat the test. .
AIM Plus instructions:
If the "KEYPAD TEST FAILED" message appears, press
[BACK-UP] and start the test again, being sure to press each key in
the order described.
If pump passes the keypad test, this message appears while [NO] is
held. Release [NO]. No response required; pump advances
automatically.
If using the PVT Form, record the results.
