Burn-in Test
This optional test verifies correct operation of the pump over 24 hours without alarms.
Note: This test is recommended but not required.

Test Setup
1. Install four (4) AA batteries or power supply list 13586.
2. Install the test cartridge into the pump.

Test Procedure
Switch the pump on and wait for the self-test to complete. Because only batteries are in use, the
following display appears:
USING BATTERIES Press [ENTER].
ENTER TO CONFIRM
CURRENT THERAPY: Press [NO] to enter a new therapy.

YES OR NO
1 TPN Press [5] to select continuous therapy.
2 PAIN MANAGEMNT
3 INTERMITTENT
USE + FOR MORE
SET RATE Press [4] [0] [0] and [ENTER] to select a 400 mL/hr rate.

CONTAINER SIZE Press [6] [4] [0] [0] [ENTER] to select a 6400 mL container size.

AIR SENSITIVITY Press [3] to turn the air alarm off.
