Preparation for Use
After testing is completed, initialize the NVRAM and clear the logs to prepare the pump for use.
Power on the pump to initiate the self-test.
Enter the Service Test Mode as described in Section 5.3.2.3, Entering the Service Test Mode.

Press [0] [2] to select CLEAR EXT RAM.
CLEARING EXT RAM

The pump clears the external RAM chip. As the test proceeds, the
address changes.
PLEASE WAIT
No user response required; pump automatically advances. If using
the PVT Form, record the result or "fail" if the procedure fails to
complete successfully. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.

Press [0] [3] to select CLEAR ERR LOG.
CLEARING The pump clears the error logs. As the test proceeds, the address
ERROR LOGS changes.

Turn off the pump. Wait at least five seconds, then turn the pump
on.

If the pump successfully completes the self-test sequence, the
pump is ready for use.
When the pump displays the first programming screen, turn off the
pump and remove the batteries and/or disconnect the power supply
from the pump.
