2.5.1 Conditioner control in the conditioning mode

Note: Against order the tractor can be equipped with an air conditioner instead of a cab
heater and fan.
The air conditioner control panel is located on the heater panel.
Conditioner control unit has switches 1 and 2 (Figure 2.5.1).
2 – Conditioner switch and cooling capacity adjustment;
With the help of the switch 1 you can change air flow by changing fan speed. The
switch 2 allows to change temperature of cold and dry air coming from deflectors 5 (fig.
2.4.1) in the conditioning mode.
ATTENTION: THE AIR CONDITIONER CAN BE SWITCHED ON AND CAN OPER-
ATE ONLY WITH THE ENGINE ON!
To switch on the conditioner, it is required to do the following:
turn switch 2 (Figure 2.5.1) clockwise to 180° until a blue scale begins;
then turn switch 1 to one of three marked positions (the fan rotor has three kinds of
rotation speed). After 3-5 minutes adjust the required temperature in the cab by means of
switch 2;
it is possible to adjust a mixture of outer air and recirculation air with recirculation
shutters 6 (Figure 2.4.1) ), situated on the top panel near the operator's head;
To switch off the conditioner, it is required to turn both switches 1 and 2 (Figure 2.5.1)
contraclockwise against stop into "0" position.
ATTENTION: MAKE SURE THE CONDITIONER IS SWITCHED OFF BEFORE
STOPPING THE ENGINE!
ATTENTION: WHEN THE CONDITIONER OPERATES IN THE COOLING MODE
MAKE SURE THAT THE HEATER CONTROL VALVE IS SHUT OFF IN ORDER TO PRE-
VENT THE SYSTEMS OF HEATING AND COOLING FROM SIMULTANEOUS OPERA-
TION!

2.5.2 Conditioner control in the heating mode

ATTENTION: REFILLING OF THE ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM SHALL BE CARRIED OUT
ONLY WITH LOW-FREEZING LIQUID SPECIFIED IN THE SUBSECTION 5.8 "TRACTOR FILLING
AND LUBRICATION WITH FUEL AND LUBRICATION MATERIALS"!
To set the conditioner into the heating mode, do the following:
- after refilling the cooling system with the cooling fluid, start the engine and let the engine
run at medium idle without opening the heater control valve to reach 70-80°C of cooling system
temperature;
- then open the heater control valve with knob 2 (Figure 2.5.2), to do this turn knob 2 contra-
clockwise against the stop;
-check and, if necessary, refill the expansion tank with coolant to the upper edge of
the expansion tank fastening clamp;
- turn on the heater fan using switch 1 (Figure 2.5.1). Within 1-5 minutes warm air starts
