2.3 Upper shield unit of button switches and rear wiper switch
1 – beacon switch; 2 – cab fan switch; 3 – front working lights switch; 4 – rear (inner) work-
ing lights switch; 5 – rear (outer) working lights switch; 6 – rear screen wiper and washer; 7 –
"road-train" signal lights switch.
Pressing switch button 1 (fig 2.3.1) activates a beacon (to be installed against order).
Pressing switch button 2 activates ventilation in the cabin.
The switch has three positions:
- "off";
- "fine air feed is on"
- "heavy air feed is on".
More precise information about operation of the fan-heater (fan) can be found in sub-
section 2.4 "Cab heater and fan control".
Pressing switch button 3 activates two front working lights, mounted on the cab roof,
and an indicating lamp built in the button.
Pressing switch button 4 activates two rear working lights (inner) and an indicating
lamp built in the button.
Pressing switch button 5 activates two rear working lights (outer) and an indicating
lamp built in the button.
Pressing switch button 6 activates the rear screen wiper or the wiper and the washer
of the rear screen simultaneously.
The switch button has three positions:
- "off";
- "rear screen wiper is on" – fixed position;
- "rear screen wiper and rear screen washer are on simultaneously – non-fixed.
During tractor operation toggle switch 2 (fig. 2.3.2) shall be in "on" position (position
"I").
Pressing switch button 7 (fig. 2.3.1) activates "Road-train" signal lights and an indicat-
ing lamp built in the button (the "Road-train" lights are installed against order).
