2.9.4 Engine control system panel

Engine control system panel 5 (Figure 2.9.2) includes button switch of testing activa-
tion 1, fault detecting annunciator 2, socket for additional equipment 3, information display
4, socket to attach coupled implements 6 (12V/25A), testing jack 7. The electric circuit dia-
gram of the engine electronic control system is given in Annex A.
Button switch of testing activation 1 is intended to call up active errors form the
memory of the engine electronic control unit by means of light codes, displayed by fault de-
tecting annunciator 2. This way of testing is alternative in comparison with information dis-
play 4. Regarding reading and decoding light codes of errors and the recommended actions
on fault elimination, it is necessary to refer to the engine operation manual, attached to your
tractor. The detected errors shall be eliminated. To eliminate the detected faults, please,
contact your dealer.
After turning the key of the starter and instrument switch from the position "Off" into
the position "Instruments on", the system is powered. After powering the system, it carries
out a self-check. If there are no errors in the system operation, fault detecting annunciator 2
on the engine control system panel shall turn on and go out, which shows the workability of
annunciator 2 lamp and its correct connection to the tractor on-board system.
Special testing jack 7 is intended to connect system testing devices to carry out an
extended service diagnostics of the engine in operation. The specified system testing devic-
es are recommended for dealer centers.
