12. Remove all DIMMs.
Be sure to note the DIMM slot locations in which each DIMM is installed. These components must be installed in the same locations on
the new system board.
13. Remove the processor heatsink assembly.
14. Loosen the system board thumbscrew, and then remove the system board.

Procedure Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
a. Extend the server from the rack .
b. Remove the server from the rack .
4. Remove the access panel .
5. If applicable, disconnect the optical disk drive cable from the system board.
