c. Loosen the heatsink screw numbers 2 and 1 (callouts 5 and 6).
8. Lift the heatsink away from the processor socket.
9. Place the heatsink on a flat work surface with its contact side facing up.
10. Use an alcohol wipe to remove the existing thermal grease from the processor.
Allow the alcohol to evaporate before continuing.
11. Remove the processor:
a. While holding the sides of the retention frame, loosen the frame screw (callout 1).
