Chapter 8 – Replacing the LCM
5. Orient the new compact flash card with the size label down and the arrow on the
label toward the library (Figure 8-6).
6. Insert the card fully into the compact flash slot in the LCM. The eject button
becomes accessible when the card is fully inserted.
Caution:
The card inserts easily when it is oriented correctly. Do not
force it.
7. Position the protective cover against the LCM, aligning the screw holes in the cover
with those on the LCM (see Figure 8-4 on page 71).
8. Using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, install the two screws to secure the protective cover
plate to the LCM.
9. Restart the library (see Restarting the Library on page 69).

Restarting Backups

After you restore the library configuration, use your backup software to restart any
backup processes.
