Resetting the Library

Important
Use the following steps to reset the library.
1. Power off the library (see
2. Wait at least 10 seconds.
3. Power on the library.
a. Press and hold the front panel power button
until the button's LED illuminates.
b. Wait while the library completes its power-on sequence, which takes about five
minutes, depending on the library configuration.
During the power-on sequence the library initializes all of its installed
components.
When the library completes its power-on sequence and displays the login screen, it is
ready to resume operation.

Restarting Backups

After you restore the library configuration, use your backup software to restart any
backup processes.

component, making diagnosing problems difficult.
