3. Place the new air filter against the inside of the fan cover so that it fits between the

tabs (shown in Figure 3-1 on page 28).

4. Push the top edge of the cover toward the front panel until the magnets secure it to

the front panel (Figure 3-3).

Note:

Clean the tape drives. After replacing the filter, Spectra Logic

recommends cleaning all of the tape drives in the library. See

Chapter 5 – Cleaning Tape Drives, beginning on page 39 for

instructions.
