Warnings and Cautions

AC Power and Moving Parts
Warning:
Risk of electrical shock. Hazardous moving parts. Turn off the power to the
library and disconnect the power cords before accessing the transporter.

Warning:
Risk of electrical shock. If you operate the library without locks on both ends
of the AC power cords, a permanent grounding wire must be installed
between the power supply bay and Earth ground.

Moving the Library

Caution:
The library must be installed in a standard 19-inch rack. The rack must be
located on a level, hard-surfaced floor such as cement or tile. Do not place
the rack on a carpeted floor or anywhere else that poses risk for static
discharge that could damage your library and its drives.
Caution:
If the library is loaded with media packs (RXT media packs or media in
TeraPacks), Spectra recommends that the library not be moved. If you must
move the library, contact SpectraGuard Support for recommendations before
proceeding.
Warning:
The T200 library weighs approximately 230 (104 kg) and the T380 library
weighs approximately 305 lb. (138 kg) without controllers, drives, and media
installed. Use extreme caution when moving it.
