The console interf ace is disabled at the f irmware image built in release build conf iguration or at DPM
low power mode. In these cases, f urther programming the f irmware image can be done as f ollows.
1. Programming f irmware image using SEGGER J-Link as shown in Section
2. Programing f irmware image over serial interf ace as shown in
a. Turn of f device
b. Run uart_console_win(linux, py) launch in Run > External Tools menu
c. Select port number and enter emode f or running emergency mode
d. Follow the instructions in the Console and conf irm the device enter MROM state
e. Exit the uart_console_win(linux, py) by entering Exit or clicking Terminate icon
f.
Run uart_program_xxx launch f or programming f irmware image

NOTE
If uart_program_xxx runs without exit of uart_console_win(linux, py), the open of serial interface would be
failed. In this case, the uart_console_win(linux, py) should be terminated by clicking Remove all
Terminated Launches and Terminate icon in Console terminal.
