Af ter Sof t AP mode is conf igured, a mobile application can be used to remotely provision the Wi-Fi
interf ace to operate in Station Mode. See Ref .

Setup for Wi-Fi Provisioning Using Bluetooth
Bluetooth® LE is available on DA16600 only. The DA16600 module can be used in a product such
as "Wi-Fi door-lock" where Wi-Fi is the main connection used during normal operation and

LE is a support connection used to do the Wi-Fi Provisioning during the product's initial
"Out-of -the-Box" setup.

A Bluetooth
LE peer application such as an Android/IOS mobile App provides an interf ace to
provision the Wi-Fi interf ace of the DA16600 device by providing conf iguration inf ormation such as a
Wi-Fi Home router's SSID, password, server inf o, etc.

Configuring UART/SPI as AT Command Interface
This section describes how to conf igure the DA16200 or DA16600 EVB f or testing AT Command.
DA16200 supports AT Command via UART or SPI. For more detailed inf ormation f or AT Command,
see Ref .[5].
Various prebuilt AT Command f irmware images can be downloaded f rom the Renesas Electronics'
website. Go to the Renesas website
