NOTE
There are two versions of the DA16600 EVB: the Adesto AT25SL321 serial flash and the Winbond
W25Q32JW serial flash.
Check the flash version by running sflash info command at the [MROM] prompt:
[/DA16600] # reset

Choose the appropriate firmware image based on the flash version .

Each f irmware image is downloaded individually thro ugh the debug serial port of the
DA16200/DA16600 using the Y-Modem f ile transf er protocol.
4.5.1
Using uart_program_da16200 in Console Terminal
This tool is a console program which can be used in Windows, Linux, or python environment. The
tool is in each f older of <sdk_root_directory>/utility/j-link/scripts/qspi/win, linux or
python). uart_program_da16200.exe in win f older is a prebuilt console program in Windows,
uart_program_da16200 in linux f older is a prebuilt console program in Linux,
uart_program_da16200.py and ymodem f older in python f older is a python program based on python
environment.
The steps below are how to program f irmware images to DA16200/DA16600.
1. Copy the console program to the f older which has the images f or DA16200/DA166000.
2. Connect the EVB to a laptop using a Micro USB cable.
3. Power ON the DA16200/DA16600 EVB.
