Description
The GWT C9 can be installed on a robot or on a pedestal. It is connected to the
robot 6
The GWT C9 is always delivered with the interface installed onto the welding gun
back plate.
This section describes the installation of a GWT C9 onto an ABB robot with a
DressPack Lean ID. The instructions may not be valid if another robot or DressPack
is used. If that is the case, see the product manual provided with the robot or
DressPack and/or contact ABB for further details and instructions.

Automatic tool changer
If an automatic tool changer is used, this will be installed onto the welding gun and
robot before delivery. For information about connecting the two halves of the tool
changer, see the product manual of the tool changer provided with the delivery.

This procedure could be performed if the GWT C9 is attached to a angled interface
bracket (long/or short interface bracket). If however an interface plate is used,
