CAUTION
The precautions below should be observed before proceeding with start-up of
the GWT C9:
Make sure correct water flow values are defined. This to avoid damaged
welding equipment such as transformer, diodes, leaf shunts and other parts
of secondary side.
Make sure power supply corresponds to the type plate at transformer.
Make sure that the electrical power cable fulfills international safety
regulations.
Make sure the electrical circuit diagrams and flow charts, delivered with the
welding gun, have been followed during installation.
Make sure duty cycle does not exceed 40% for the primary side by calculating
Duty Cycle Rectifier. See how to calculate in the below example:
Duty Cycle Transformer = (weld time x welds/min x 100%)/ (60 s/min x
frequency) = (22 cy. x 10 welds/min x (100)) / (60 s/min x 50 hz) = 6,1%
Duty Cycle Rectifier (diodes) = (22cy. / (22cy. on + 150 cy.off)) x 100 = 12,8%
