3.2.1 Unpacking and acceptance

The identification plate is placed below the interface bracket as shown in the
illustration below.

Inspection
Start by inspecting the packaging for any visible transport damage since this can
imply that the welding gun is damages as well. Document any damages on the
packaging before proceeding with unpacking the GWT C9.
If any damages is found, contact ABB for complaints before returning the welding
gun. This is to ensure goods labeling and traceability of the welding gun. Carefully
repack the welding gun to prevent further damages.
Make sure that all parts of the packing list have been delivered.

Tip
It is recommended to photograph the unit immediately after unpacking to
document the conditions of the delivery.
