5.7 Replacement of the transformer

Action
Reuse the secondary leaders.
Clean the contact surfaces with a clean
cloth. Use scotch brite (very fine grade)
if necessary.
Lubricate the contact surfaces with con-
tact paste.
Spread the paste evenly over the entire
contact surfaces using a brush.
Reassemble the screws (pos. 1) holding
the secondary leaders (pos. 2).
Tighten by hand.
Reuse the water couplings from the old
transformer by reassembling the coup-
lings on the new transformer.
Apply thread sealant before assemble.
Note
If the water couplings are damaged, re-
place with new ones.
Reassemble the transformer (pos. 1) with
the mounting screws (pos. 2), two on
each side.
