Installing the GWT C9 using lifting chains/slings

Action
Lift the GWT C9 by following the
steps described in the section
Handling/Lifting.
A Lean ID bracket is attached to the
th
manipulators 6
axis flange.
Move the robot to a position where
this Lean ID bracket is in a good
working high.

Rotate the 6
axis 90° to the left.
If this is done correctly, the
DressPack cables will stick out up-
wards from the Lean ID bracket.
Insert the dowel pin into the guide
hole in the Lean ID bracket.
The next step differs depending on
if an long/short interface bracket or
an interface plate is used.
Long/short interface bracket
One person grab the GWT C9 in the
welding gun arms and move it to-
wards the robot.
The other person adjust the move-
ment to fit the GWT C9 interface
bracket with the dowel pin attached
to the Lean ID bracket.
Interface plate
One person grab the GWT C9 in the
welding gun arms and rotate the
welding gun 90° upwards so the in-
terface plate and Lean ID bracket is
positioned towards each other.
The other person adjust the move-
ment to fit the GWT C9 interface
plate with the dowel pin attached to
the Lean ID bracket.
