Powering off the projector

To maintain the life of the light source, follow these steps to turn off the projector.
Notice. If not avoided, the following could result in property damage.
To maintain the lifecycle of the HLD light, power off the projector for at least five minutes after it has been.
Do not use the projector without breaks as it may impact the lifecycle of the light source. Power off the projector
for an hour at least once every 24 hours.
If the Direct on start function is set enabled, the projector powers on once connected to an AC power socket.
Cooling fan speed varies with the internal temperature of the projector.
Do not place the projector in a box before it has fully cooled down.
If the POWER indicator flashes or turns red, refer to the Indicator status on page 23 for instructions.
1. Select Power at the top control panel or the remote control.
2. Within four seconds after the Power Off prompt appearing, select Power again.
The LWU605ST-APS POWER indicator flashes green while the cooling fan continues running:
The LWU505ST-APS POWER indicator flashes red while the cooling fan continues running:
The noise level and speed of the fan can be set up while it is cooling down.
3. Unplug the power cord once the fan stops running.
Failure to unplug the cord may shorten life of the projector, lead to power on failures, or lead to
operation abnormalities.
