charts. The figure captions include the number of turns and tap settings for the Smith

14-TURN TUNE (SERIES) COIL

Schematic

The tune (series) coil has taps at 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 turns. These are labeled 1
through 6 in the schematic. The load (shunt) coil has 3 turns, labeled A, B, and C.
These labels are used in the Smith charts.
