1. Turn s e t bu t t o n ( 7 ) clockwise.
Setting range: 1 minute–24 hours, presetting "0:00".
2. For continuous operation: With the time display at "0:00", turn s e t
bu t to n ( 7 ) anticlockwise.
The time display changes to "– – –".
→ Turn s e t bu t t o n ( 7 ) anticlockwise.
Setting range 99 °C (210.2 °F)–30 °C (86 °F) in 1 °C (°F) increments .

The following values can be displayed during operation:
the elapsed cooking time
the current cooking chamber temperature
the actual core temperature
→ Turn s e t bu t t o n ( 6 ) or s e t bu t t o n (7 ).
Display (9) shows the current cooking chamber temperature for five
seconds. The target temperature is then shown again.
Display (8) shows the elapsed cooking time (actual core temper a ture) for
five seconds. The remaining time (target core temper a ture) is then shown
again.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to the sensor bursting!
The probe tip may burst if it becomes overheated.
→ Never heat sensors with a lighter or other source of heat.
NOTICE
Measure the core temperature with all cooking programs if possible.
The illustration shows a measuring sensor with four measuring points
(optional). The sensor measures the core temperature at four points; the
coldest point measured is used for controlling the cooking process. This
means that the tip of the sensor ma y be positioned somewhat away from
the core of the food to be cooked.
