FT1020G3 FDCIE Layout
The FT1020G3 is available in many configurations depending on the number of options fitted
in the FDCIE. The 19" rack cabinet 22U style is shown in Figure 2 below.
The cabinet is fitted with different options e.g. Occupant Warning System (OWS), Zone
Control Module, Fan/damper control module, 1200 series ancillary modules, MCP, etc.
Refer to the general arrangement in Figure 22 page 174.
The appearance and functions of FT1020G3 may vary depending on the number of optional
modules fitted.
Note: Custom's hardware is required to add the options.
The 19" rack FT1020G3 22U Control and Indicating Equipment (FDCIE) shown in Figure 2
is housed in an oyster coloured powder coated metal cabinet. The cabinet has an inner
metal door and acrylic outer door. The outer door is fitted with 003 keys to provide access
level 1 and is made of tinted high impact acrylic which allows for easy viewing of all
indicators and controls. The appearance of the FT1020G3 might vary based on the number
of options fitted, cabinet size, additional battery enclosure, etc.
Access to the inner door is gained by opening the outer door which then provides access
to the inner door fixing screws. Opening the inner door allows access to the Control Unit
hardware for the purpose of maintenance or service.
Each FT1020G3 has the following basic configuration:

Metal cabinet powder coated oyster with smoky acrylic door as shown above.
Different sizes available.
MMI board 5015, see Figure 11 page 32.
