Example 4: Copying One Logical Volume by Logical Volume Name or by FS

In this example, you are copying one logical volume (lv_C) from the parent array to the
|
RAID-Copy array. You can use either the logical volume name (lv_C), or the FS name
|
(data_fs2).

To copy one logical volume by logical volume name, give the commands:
|

To copy one logical volume by fs name, type:
|
|

Figure 28 shows, from left to right:
v The parent array that contains the source volume group.
|
v The empty RAID-Copy array coupled to the parent array.
|
v The uncoupled RAID-Copy array that now contains a copy of the logical volume.
|
|
Note that in the copy, all names start with fs.
