IP Phone Key Expansion Module (KEM)
Description
Telephone function key assignments
The following key assignments determine calling options
and features available to a telephone. Note that KEY is
prompted until just a carriage return <CR> is entered.
Where:
xx = key number
aaa = key name or function
yyy = additional information required for the key
zz.z = additional information required for the key aaa.
The cccc or D entry deals specifically with the Calling
Line Identification feature, where:
cccc = CLID table entry of (0)-N, where N = the value
entered at the SIZE prompt in LD 15 minus 1.
D = the character "D". When the character "D" is
entered, the system searches the DN keys from key 0
and up, to find a DN key with a CLID table entry. The
CLID associated with the found DN key will then be
used.
Note: The position of the (cccc or D) field varies
depending on the key name or function.
You may enter a CLID table entry if aaa = ACD, HOT d,
HOT L, MCN, MCR, PVN, PVR, SCN, or SCR.
Type xx NUL to remove a key function or feature.
Some data ports require specific key assignments.
Refer to the Meridian Data Services NTPs for
information regarding these requirements.
