Note – The 8mm cleaning tape cartridge contains a shed-free fabric tape that
traps and removes debris from the tape drive heads and tape paths. Its regular
use helps maintain data integrity and improves the reliability of the tape drive.
Caution – Never use video cleaning cartridges as they may damage the tape
drives.
To place another tape or a cleaning cartridge into the fixed cartridge holder.
Insert the cartridge into the fixed cartridge holder until it snaps into place.
See Figure 2-8. Close the door and lock it by turning the key
counterclockwise 90 degrees.
