3.1 Hardware Description
3.1.1
Outline of Hardware Modules
The outline of GRD150 is shown in Figure 3.1.1.
The detail case outline and dimension of GRD150 is shown in Appendix F.
The GRD150 relay unit consists of the following hardware modules.
• Human machine interface module (HMI)
• Transformer module (VCT)
• Signal processing module (SPMM)
• Binary input and output module 1 (IO1)
The following modules are added depending on the model.
• Binary input and output module 2 (IO2) : model ∗∗ 2, ∗∗ 3, ∗∗ 4
• Binary input and output module 3 (IO3) : model ∗∗ 3, ∗∗ 4
• Binary input and output module 4 (IO4) : model ∗∗ 4
The human machine interface module is provided with the front panel. Other modules are behind
the human machine interface module. Figure 3.1.2 shows their module location.
