7.6 Checking and Adding Cutterbar Lubricant

DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator's seat for any reason.
CAUTION
Exercise caution when working around the blades. Blades are sharp and can cause serious injury. Wear
gloves when handling blades.
1. Park the rotary disc header on level ground.
2. Position rotary disc header so that the cutterbar is approximately level.
3. Shut down the rotary disc header, and remove key.
4. Open cutterbar doors (A). Refer to
Cutterbar Doors, page
5. Use a spirit (bubble) level to ensure the cutterbar is
level in both directions. Raise or lower rotary disc
header accordingly.
