The following is the basic operation flow for ZW-8000/7000/5000 Series.

Saving settings
(*1) After you have made or changed settings,
be sure to save the setup data.
All set data will be cleared if you turn the
power OFF without saving the data.

Installation and connection
Install the sensor head.
Default settings for connecting
the sensor head.
Set the extension fiber cable length.
Perform a sensor head calibration.
Setting measurement items
Select task(s) from TASK1 to
TASK4, and set measurement
items, including height, thickness
and calculation.
Setting the Output Conditions
Set the output conditions such as
scaling, hold and zero reset.
Saving the setting data (*1)
Save the set data.
