7.8.8 Activate Windows - Network Connectivity Issues

Issue:
In case of network connectivity issues, it may not be possible to activate your Windows operating system on the
Voluson E-Series systems. Monitor screen display:
When present, the "Activate Windows" message will not impact system performance in any way.
Note:
Cause:
Activation servers of Microsoft are not reachable.
Solution:
1. Check Operating System License Status in Utilities -
Licensed -> Windows is properly activated.
a.
Notification -> Windows is not activated. Proceed with troubleshooting steps.
b.
2. Make sure that the Voluson E-Series system is connected to the internet.
3. Contact your local IT department to make sure that inside your local network infrastructure activation servers of
Microsoft are reachable. If needed, contact your GE service technician for further support.
