Introduction

With VisionNavi, it is possible to perform inspection with a flow created by arranging
inspection tools side by side in the order of 1. image acquisition, 2.image processing
/ judgement, and 3.output.
In addition, it is possible to combine complicated processes to obtain the final output
by setting execution conditions of individual tools and outputting values (data)
obtained by each tool to variables and performing calculation processing.
Image acquisition
You can select whether to capture the image to be inspected with the camera or to
read the saved image. Ligh control is also done with the imaging tool. In addition, it is
also possible to temporarily store the image in the memory during the examination or
call up the image saved in the file.
Image processing / Judgement
Image processing is processing such as reduction of noise of images using filters,
edge emphasis, binarization (narrowing down to white and black images) for narrow-
ing down measurement points and determining area. It is used to improve accuracy
of recognition and measurement / judgment. The judgment processing is processing
of judgement OK / NG by calculating the number of extracted objects, area, position,
edge shape, edge distance, and comparing with the preset judgment value.
Output
In addition to the control output (DO) provided by VisionNavi, you can output by com-
munication to the PC or PLC.
It can also perform state control by control input and branch processing to change the
next processing based on the judgment result of the specified tool.
