tions of the tool. You can specify 8 values from 0 to 7. When the inspection proj-
ect is saved, the value at that time is saved with the project.

Basic Operation

Setting screen

Inspection name
The name of the inspection project
DIO indicator
Correspond to the display LED which shows the status of control input (DI) and con-
trol output (DO) of VisionNavi. The indicator light will light up when the control input
and control output are ON.
Also,by clicking here, you can open the input / output setting screen.
Processing time / Processing cycle
Display processing time (ms) or processing cycle (ms) at the time of inspection flow
Setting Screen execution. By right-clicking on the display area, you can switch
between display of processing time and processing cycle.
setting / running mode changeover switch
Switch the operation mode (setting ↔ running). When saving the project in the run-
ning mode, it automatically shifts to the continuous executing mode when the power
is turned on. Although inspection can be performed even during setting, depending
on the drawing content, it may affect image processing time. It is recommended to
perform inspection in operation mode.

Tool IDs are automatically allocated from T00 in the order they were created. Each
tool ID does not change even if the tool order is changed.
You can also change the tool order by dragging and dropping
Various basic settings
You can use Configuration and Statistical analysis tools. For details, see Basic setting
(p 14).
Tool editing
You can add or delete tools, and set other details. For details, refer to the inspection
setting (p 17).
Branch control variable
It is used to control the flow to be processed for each imaging. It is used to switch
workpiece type, control multiple times and so on. Up to 8 settings from 0 to 7 can be
set, and it is possible to switch the tool execution conditions according to the value.
Tool list
Each tool has a tool ID assigned to its upper left corner. The tool ID is used to refer to
each tool. The inspection project is executed from the top of the tool list in order from
imaging to output.The result of action or judgment of each tool is displayed as OK or
NG on the right side of each tool. The order of each tool can be changed by drag &
drop operation.It is possible to copy tools, set execution conditions, add comments,
etc. from the right click menu.
Image of work target
It is an image of work target acquired by imaging or file reading etc. You can scroll the
image by scrolling the mouse, move it by dragging it.
