Points with large errors from the approximate line obtained by geometric fitting can
be excluded from calculation of the final detection result. Set threshold to exclude by
ratio to [Width1] value.
[Unit conversion]
Convert the detection result to the specified unit with the mm / pix information set with
the camera setting tool.
Detection result
Each item of the detection result can be used for judgment of this tool.
[Width]
The width of the detected contour.
[Max width, Min width]
The maximum width and minimum width of the distance between two approximate
straight lines.
[Center X, Y]
The center coordinate of the detected contour line.
Measure position of edge
Measure the edge position in the target region.
Judgement method
By difference from master
Detect the difference with the registered master image and make a judgment on the
detection result.
By measured value
The judgment is made on the value of the feature value obtained as the detection
result.
Detect condition
[Edge dir.]
Both edge
···················It detects both " Dark -> Light " "Light -> Dark".
Dark -> Light
···················Only edges that change from a dark pixel to a light pixel are detected.
Light -> Dark
···················Only edges that change from a light pixel to a dark pixel are detected.
[Edge strength]
It is the threshold to detect as an edge when the clearest edge in the target part is
100. It is possible to adjust to a stable value while referring to the edge intensity dis-
tribution.
[Min strength]
Increasing the value prevents detection of ambiguous edges.
[Width]
You can adjust the width of the guide frame in the measurement region.
[Target edge]
Specify the target edge from extracted edges. For the specified edge, the center
coordinates are displayed on the work target image. When [All] is set, the center
coordinates of all edges are displayed
