NOTE:
Arrow indicates forward direction.
2. Place a wooden block between two cutterbar discs to
prevent disc rotation while loosening blade bolts.
3. Remove eight M8 bolts (A) and washers securing the
cover to the non-driven rotary deflector.
4. Remove the four M10 bolts inside the deflector drum
using a 12 in. (305 mm) extension and 16 mm socket.
5. Remove wooden block.
6. Remove rotary deflector.
Installing Non-Driven Rotary Deflectors
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up or fall of a raised machine, stop engine, remove
key, and engage header lift cylinder lock-out valves before going under machine for any reason.
CAUTION
Exercise caution when working around the blades. Blades are sharp and can cause serious injury. Wear
gloves when handling blades.
