4.2 Recommended Safety Procedures

• Park on level surface when possible.

incline. Follow all recommendations in your tractor
operator's manual.
• Wear close-fitting clothing and cover long hair. Never
wear dangling items such as scarves or bracelets.
• Wear protective shoes with slip-resistant soles, a hard
hat, protective glasses or goggles, and heavy gloves.
• Be aware that if more than one person is servicing the
machine at the same time, rotating a driveline or other
mechanically driven component by hand (for example,
to access a lube fitting) will cause drive components in
other areas (belts, pulleys, and discs) to move. Stay
clear of driven components at all times.
