6 Crash reports

The crash report helps sof tware developers better understand sof tware behavior if it suddenly crashes. The
reports can either be saved and emailed or they can be sent directly into a Crash Report database, to which
sof tware engineers have access and subsequently investigate the incidents.
If the Af f inity Suite crashes, and the details can be logged by the system, the Crash Report window will
appear on the test screen (as shown below). The crash report provides inf ormation to Interacoustics about
the error message and extra inf ormation can be added by the user outlining what they were doing bef ore the
crash occurred to assist in f ixing the problem. A screen shot of the sof tware can also be sent.
The "I agree to the Exclusion of Liability" check box must be checked bef ore the crash report can be sent via
the internet. For those users without an internet connection, the crash report can be saved to an external
drive so it can be sent f rom another computer with an internet connection.
