2.5 Background on real-ear measurements using REM440

When perf orming real-ear measurements there a certain things you should keep in mind to obtain the best
possible result. Some of these will inevitably also inf luence the precision of the curve obtained.
This section will walk through some important tips and tricks to remember when doing real-ear
measurements using the REM440.
2.5.1

Required items

The Af f inity

The REM440 sof tware.
An In-situ headset (including a ref erence microphone).
A probe tube microphone.
Note: If perf orming the RECD a couple of f urther parts are needed.
