Binaural REM measurements

This is a f eature which allows binaural measurement of real ear measurements simultaneously. This makes
it easier and quicker to perf orm this measurement.
This test involves the placement of the probe tube microphone in each of the patient's ears at the same time
and ref erencing is perf ormed with only one of the ref erence microphones. As a consequence, this test
requires that the patient is orientated at 0° f rom the speaker to ensure that there is equal distance to the
speaker f rom each ear.
Binaural REM can only be used with stimuli which do not require active ref erencing during the measurement.
Theref ore, Binaural REM is not suitable f or measurement with Warble Tone, Pink Noise, Random Noise,
Pure tone, and Narrowband Noise.
No specif ic protocol is required to perf orm Binaural REM as it uses the settings f rom your existing protocols.
However, a protocol can be def aulted to start up in Binaural REM measuring mode by enabling the below
setting in the REM protocol.
