Calibration
Sound is af f ected when passed through a small probe tube. This is considered by the probe tube calibration.
The calibration process involves aligning the ref erence microphone and probe tube microphone to account
f or any dif f erences. This ensures that once positioned the dif ferences which are occurring are not caused by
the hardware.
The calibration procedure should be perf ormed at least once a day or per patient when changing the tube.
