Quick Start
1. Flip the slider of the rear-panel battery connector to the right to open the
connector.
2. Orient the battery pack on the oscilloscope's rear panel and push the feet of the
battery pack down towards the rear-panel slots to snap it in place.
3. Then push the pack up toward the top of the oscilloscope to snap the hooks of the
battery pack into the rear-panel grooves.
This oscilloscope has a built-in charge system that can charge internal battery packs
while it is connected to AC power. A fully discharged battery pack requires
approximately 4.5 hours to fully charge if the oscilloscope is powered down. If the
oscilloscope is operating, a battery pack can take up to 7 hours to fully charge. The
battery charging LED indicator lights when the battery is being charged.
TIP
A Lithium-ion battery pack will self-discharge during non-use for a long time. To avoid that,
please remove the battery pack and store it separately from the oscilloscope. Discharge the
battery to approximately 50% of capacity before storage and charge the battery to
approximately 50% of capacity at least once every six months.
