Using Web Interface to Manage the Access Point
2. In the Services page, do the following:
a. HTTP/HTTPS:
Password: Enter a password for the Web Browser HTTP interface. The default password is "public". The
password should be alphanumeric with minimum of 6 and maximum of 32 characters.
HTTP: Either enable or disable the TCP/IP port by which the HTTP server will be accessible.
HTTPS: Either enable or disable the HTTPS access to the device from any host.
b. Telnet/SSH:
Password: Enter a password for the CLI interface. The default password is "public". The password should be
alphanumeric with minimum of 6 and maximum of 32 characters.
Telnet: Either enable or disable the Telnet access to the device from any host.
SSH: Either enable or disable the SSH access to the device from any host.
c. SNMP:
Read Password: Enter a password for Read access to AP using SNMP interface. The default password is
"public". The password should be alphanumeric with minimum of 6 and maximum of 32 characters.
Read/Write Password: Enter a password for Read/Write access to the AP using SNMP interface. The default
password is "public". The password should be alphanumeric with minimum of 6 and maximum of 32
characters.
Trap Host IP Address: Enter the IP Address for which the traps needs to be delivered.
d. Click Ok. After configuring the password page, click REBOOT to update the changes.
NOTE: For security reasons, Proxim recommends you to change the default passwords of the device thus restricting
the access to your network to authorized personnel.

Management Access Control

To manage interfaces,
1. Navigate to Management > Access Control. The Management Access Control Table page appears.
