Installation and Initialization

System Requirements

To use AP-8000, you must have the following minimum system requirements.
• Ethernet switch, cross-over or straight Ethernet cable.
• IEEE 802.11- compliant devices: An 802.11a/b/g or 802.11n client devices
• A computer that is connected to the same IP network as the AP and has one of the following installed:
– Web Browser
– Telnet
– RS-232 Serial Port
– MIB Browser
– Ethernet NIC Card

Each AP-8000 shipment includes the items tabulated below. Verify that you have received all parts of the shipment.
NOTE: Unless noted in this table, cables are not supplied with the unit.
