Commit

To apply the changes done, you have to commit those changes before exiting from the configure mode. To do this, use
the following commands before doing an exit from configure mode. Value for commit must be set to 1. The command to
commit is,
(config)# commit 1

Reboot

For some commands, it is necessary to commit and reboot the system to reflect the changes. This can be done by using
the reboot command under configure level. The command to reboot is,
