Malfunction Possible Cause
Over-Range Electrode connections
Readings loose or bad
Electrode wiring
Blocked junction on
reference electrode
Chloride or reference
electrode failure
Electronics failure or

Analyzer out of calibration Recalibrate the analyzer. Refer to Chapter IV.
Low Readings Analyzer out of calibration Recalibrate the analyzer. Refer to Chapter IV.
Sample is very pure
Electronics failure
Default Battery failure
Electronics failure
Remedy
Verify the electrode connections to the
electrode cables.
Electrodes not properly wired to terminal
strip. Refer to Chapter II.
Make sure electrolyte is flowing properly and
the bottle is pressurized by the air pump.
Electrode is shorted, cracked or damaged.
Install a new electrode. Refer to Chapter II.
Reset the analyzer. Refer to Chapter VI.
Check sample status. Perform a span check
and if span check passes, the analyzer is okay.
Try resetting the analyzer. Refer to
Chapter VI or consult Technical Support.
Consult Technical Support.
