Setting for NHS8 (power and control switch) connections
The following settings are required to display NHS8 data on the NMS8x screen.
 59 Digital D-12/D-34 setting screen via FieldCare
1. Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Input/output → Digital Xx-x (e.g. Digital
D-12)
 Either Digital A, B, C, or D is shown on the display (Setting combination varies
depending on customer specifications).
2. Select the Input active option for the Operating mode parameter.
3. Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Input/output → Digital Xx-x (e.g. Digital
D-34)
 Either Digital A, B, C, or D is shown on the display (Setting combination varies
depending on customer specifications).
4. Select the Input active option for the Operating mode parameter.
5. Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Input/output → Digital input mapping
6. Select the Digital D-12 option for the Digital input source parameter.
7. Select the Digital D-34 option for the Digital input source 2 parameter.
8. Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Input/output → Digital input mapping
→ Gauge command 0
9. Select the Level option for the Gauge command 0 parameter
10. Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Input/output → Digital input mapping
→ Gauge command 1
11. Select the Stop option for the Gauge command 1 parameter.
12. Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Input/output → Digital input mapping
→ Gauge command 2
13. Select the Up option for the Gauge command 2 parameter.
This completes setting procedure.
