The submersion depth (a) is set to 150 mm (5.91 in) prior to delivery. To change the
submersion depth, perform the following steps.
1. Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Sensor config → Spot density → Submersion
depth
2. Input the desired value for the Submersion depth parameter.
Setting the spot density
1. Navigate to: Operation → Gauge command → Gauge command
2. Select the Upper density option, the Middle density option, or the Lower density
option for the Gauge command parameter.
3. Verify that the value that was examined in a laboratory and the actual value that was
measured in the tank are the same or within an allowable range.
4. Adjust the value if necessary.
 Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Sensor config → Spot density
Select the Upper density offset parameter , the Middle density offset
parameter, and the Lower density offset parameter and input the desired values
for each offset.
This completes the setting spot density procedure.
To use the measured spot densities as set values for level measurement, navigate to
Expert → Sensor → Sensor config → Spot density and set the Use measured
densities parameter to Yes before performing the spot density gauge command. If the
spot density fails (e.g. due to no liquid in tank), the measurement values will be set to
the maximum value (9.99 g/ml) and will not be taken over as set values.
