7.8.9 Entering the offset of the external temperature probe

If a deviation is found during the check using a calibrated reference thermometer probe, then the offset (the additive
part of the characteristic) of the external measurement chain can be adjusted with the following function. The refer-
ence thermometer must be dipped nearly by the external temperature probe into the consumer bath according to the
details on the calibration certificate.
