Select the Line to be dedicated to the extension.

The extension menu is presented. Select the extensions as necessary to leave the manager's extension
the only extension with a (à).
Press the Speaker Phone Key to finish programming.

To program a key as an Single Extension Page key to the assistant's extension

This programs a key on the manager's extension that, when pressed, calls the assistant's extension, which
automatically answers the call, allowing the manager to speak over the assistant's extension speaker.

From the manager's extension, press the PROGRAM Key.
·
Press the Scroll Down Key (î) until "Key Programming" is displayed.
·
Select "Key Programming".
·
Select the Programmable Key you want to program.
·
Press the Scroll Down Key (î) until "Single Extension Page" is displayed.
·
Select the "Single Extension Page" option.
·
Select "Enter Data" and enter the assistant's extension number.
·
Select "Confirm".
Press the Speaker Phone Key to finish programming.
Note: The assistant extension must be programmed to receive Call Waiting tones. See page 56.

To program a key to call the assistant's extension directly

With this feature set, the Manager can call the assistant, while the Assistant's extension is idle, by pressing
the key. Also, the Manager can see the status of the Assistant's extension from the key light – lit if the
extension is busy, and flashing if ringing.

From the Manager's extension, press the PROGRAM Key.
·
Press the Scroll Down Key (î) until "Key Programming" is displayed.
·
Select "Key Programming".
·
Select the Programmable Key you want to program.
·
Select "Extensions".
·
Enter the assistant's extension number.
·
Select "Confirm".
Press the Speaker Phone Key to finish programming.

To Forward calls to an assistant

When this feature is set, all calls to the Manager's extension will be forwarded to the Assistant's extension.

From the manager's extension, press the PROGRAM Key .
§
Press the Scroll Down Key (î) until "Key Programming" is displayed.
§
Select "Key Programming".
§
Select the key you want to program.
§
Press the Scroll Down Key (î) until "Forward All Calls" is displayed.
§
Select "Forward All Calls".
§
Select "Enter Data" and enter the assistant's extension number.
§
Select "Confirm".
Press the Speaker Phone Key to finish programming.
